Originally from the East Coast, Carter and her husband were lured to Salt Lake City by its beauty and endless array of recreational activities, an ideal environment in which to raise their three young boys. Prior to moving to Utah and joining Coldwell Banker, Carter worked as a real estate attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. Her legal background has served as an invaluable tool in reviewing and negotiating real estate contracts, working with lenders and title officers, and overseeing entire transactions from offer to closing and beyond. Having relocated several times on account of her husband's medical career, Carter is very familiar with the ins and outs of navigating a new city as well as with the stress that can accompany buying or selling a house. She hopes to make this transition as smooth as possible for her clients and help them find a wonderful home and community in Salt Lake City.
Julie Livers moved to Salt Lake City from the East Coast (by way of Bozeman, Montana) in 2003 when her husband Greg began his surgery residency at the U. She was immediately drawn to the Avenues for its convenient location, charming houses and strong community feel. Over the past twelve years, Julie and Greg have owned three homes in the Avenues and have been raising a family consisting of two boys, two dogs and one very much missed cat. They see Salt Lake, and more specifically this dynamic neighborhood, as their permanent address. After graduating from Hobart & William Smith Colleges with a BA in Environmental Education, Julie embarked on a teaching career with her most recent position being at Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s School. With young children to raise, Julie shifted her focus to tutoring but felt that something was lacking and that there was more that she could contribute to her community. As it turns out, a career in residential real estate has fulfilled this desire while putting to good use Julie’s analytical skills, dedication to research and strong work ethic. Julie is a people person who enthusiastically monitors sales trends and helps guide her clients through the ever-changing market conditions. She enjoys the challenge of helping people find the right house, in the right neighborhood, at the right price—whether they are first-time buyers or seasoned movers—and is committed to attending to every detail to represent her clients’ best interests. In her free time, Julie enjoys adventures with her family and entertaining friends at home. She also likes to bike and ski along the Wasatch Front, where she is always keeping an eye out for real estate gems.
